ShowMe launches v2.0

ShowMe launches version 2.0 today to connect great teachers with students across the world. Nine months ago, ShowMe introduced its massively popular iPad app, an easy-to-use whiteboard that enabled anyone to record video lessons on any subject. Since then the community has created over 1.5 million lessons, covering subjects like chemistry, Algebra, art, even cooking.

ShowMe 2.0 opens up the wealth of knowledge shared by the community, and provides a global hub where people can discover lessons and connect to other members of the community.

ShowMe was founded by a former teacher, San Kim, whose parents moved from Korea to the US to give him and his sister the best education possible. Said San: “There are millions of great teachers out there; we want to empower every one of them to share their knowledge.”

Added San: "Every student in the world should have access to quality education, no matter where they live or what school they go to.”
