Diploid cells (2n), have the full amount of chromosomes (46). Haploid cells (1n) have half the amount of the original chromosomes (23).

Meiosis goes through the phase of P.M.A.T but meiosis takes it one step farther and goes through P.M.A.T again resulting in a total of 4 cells.

H-bryan sierra-7 meisois undergoes a second phase of PMAT which means that instead of having two cells which is a sematic cell it will turn into a gamete cell because the cell went twice in the PMAT 'format'
